I really, really appreciate when people I trust take me aside and let me know that, despite good intentions, I've fucked up in words or tones or even asks.

It's gonna happen; it happens to everyone. I'm glad that I have friends whose hearts I know and who know mine, and together we can reach a deeper understanding when we have problems.
