Good morning. It’s 4:45 AM and I’ve had things rolling around in my head for a half hour that I need to get written down. 😩

I sat down for nearly two hours. I wrote and wrote and wrote, pouring out my soul, giving form to my deeply personal struggles, thinking I might have something I can share.

And then I came back and looked at what’s been going on in the world outside me since I went to bed last night and it all seems so insignificant.

Sometimes I just don’t know what to do. Please, everyone, love and support each other. Please. We will need everyone’s strength.

Your happiness and health, the struggles you face, they keep mattering even when the world is so big and we are so very small.

If a school needs books, we don't toss up our hands and cry about that places that have no schools. We build schools *and* we provide books.

We focus on the basics and we fight. But we also work to preserve our humanity, all the way down to each one of us continuing to care about ourselves and each other.

I try to put love into the world and I’m just a drop in an ocean.

The tide of hate keeps trying to pull me out. It already has so many of my human family, and some have almost drowned.

This morning, I felt like I just couldn’t fight it anymore. I just didn’t have the strength.

I’m feeling better-ish now, but emotionally numb. Thanks for your love, friends. You mean the world to me.
