Yay, I just watched #LoveSimon for the sixth time, this time with @pmosetc
Feels: still all there 😭
@pmosetc YES
@zigg and Puccini for Beginners even though it's about an awful bi woman
maybe that's why it speaks to me
@pmosetc We did see Professor Marston and the Wonder Women not that long ago
@pmosetc But oh my gosh yes you should totally put together a fediverse queer film festival
@zigg so many are so depressing. Or like PfB, use stereotypes I feel uncomfortable sharing my enjoyment of with straight allies. But things like that could be fun to talk about while watching, too. Just go in without foreknowledge and chat about it.
@pmosetc I mean, I think that's okay. I've really enjoyed diving into queer history even though it has so many rough edges—not to mention the "what year was this book written? oh right, we thought bisexuality was man + woman back then" game

@TheOddPiggy It's a good book, worth reading in addition to the movie! I do recommend hitting the movie first—it was great to experience it without knowing where it was going.
@zigg dully noted, I'll check the movie next week!
@TheOddPiggy Shame you weren’t around a few hours ago; @pmosetc and I were watching it in my Rabbit room 😊
@zigg *makes endless list of queer movies to screen for fedifrens*
