The three pillars of my #pride:

Ownership: owning my identity. Conquering the self-hate, denial, and hiding that I suffered through for 25 years.

Visibility: showing the world who I am and how I love—particularly my queer siblings who may have had doubts they could be true to themselves like I did.

Community: All of you, my #queer family. You looked for me before you knew me and I was looking for you before I knew I needed you. And now that I've found you, I want to keep searching for the rest of you.
