Using scriptsafe:

on other websites:
blank screen. Enable scripts from domain. Reload
broken couple of div boxes. Allow scripts from static server. Reload.
Broken-looking page with text on it. Reload.
Success, unless they have video streaming or page-scrolling content, which is going to be like six more edge servers deep.

Mastodon:
blank screen. Enable scripts from domain. Reload.
Success.

Thank you.

@weird_hell what's the difference between noscript and scriptsafe?

      Ray @weird_hell

@bastion They do the same thing, but scriptsafe shows you what domains scripts are being loaded from, lets you allow/deny them on a per-case basis and temporarily, and it comes with a known list if 'unwanted' domains built in. I started there when I was using chrome and did not have noscript available, and I think just got used to the UI for when I switched back to firefox.

@weird_hell That sounds like basically noscript functionality, but to each his own I guess. Also I suggest umatrix for maximum granularity based on domains
