The "sweariest", "most violent" elf in #fantasy... Nystra.

First in an ongoing Heroic Fantasy series, 'Revenge of the Elf' promises unrelenting action, oddball mages, and a foul-mouthed wisecracking heroine tougher than a hardboiled egg. Following in the footsteps of Conan, Drizzt, the Gray Mouser, Elric, Druss, and many more heroes of Sword and Sorcery, the elf called Nysta will carve her own epic path.

Seven novels strong so far...

@viciousviscosity though I've know about it, and know the author, for years, I haven't read it yet. Bad bad bad.

@DNA I still have virtual volumes of books I've bought but not yet read.

@DNA whatcha reading currently, if anything?

@viciousviscosity Working on a Japanese book called FACELESS CITY, a Cthulhu noir novel (by friend and author Ken Asamatsu who has over a 100 books to his credit), and working an anthology called Cyber World that I believe was a Kickstarter book.

@DNA Working my way through "Never Deal with a Dragon" and "Freedom", by Daniel Suarez.

@DNA Freedom is the sequel to Daemon, it's a tech thriller +does a good job of taking existing tech and explaining feasible ways it could be used do to some unnatural things.

@viciousviscosity @DNA This is, arguably, the worst thing about having an e-reader. So easy to carry around, but so easy to forget how many unread books are already on there!

@DNA @deadsuperhero Very true, but I'm happy I don't have to lug around 100+lbs of books when I move

@DNA @deadsuperhero Well, at least there's no huge backlog on the shelf then? :smiling:

@viciousviscosity @DNA Yeah, but now it takes way more effort to trick people into thinking I'm smart.

@viciousviscosity @deadsuperhero When I moved to Japan, I had a ton of books. When I got married, my new wife gave me the hairy eyeball. She's happier (and I love it to) that I switched over.
