so presumably the robocop dog things are waterproof, yeah

probably by oil-sealed joints and silicone lubricated ball bearings

i suspect that some oil with graphite particles suspended in it would wreak havoc with the servos, even if it didn't reach anything critical inside

@tindall Hmm, what would the graphite particles do?

@x44203 they'd deposit on the internal moving parts of the servos and create a conductive path to short out the motors. that's why (iirc) you can't use graphite lubricants except on specially designed electric motors

@tindall Hmm, I'd expect the motors to be mostly sealed, or at least exposed conductors to have heatshrink (like RC drone motors)
