@tindall This is really weird. When I try to access that page from home it just hangs, I can't even ping it. But when I try via a VPN to the US it works.
@tindall When I do a traceroute I get all the way to the last hop which is at Shaw Cable. That suggests to me that the site is on a home connection, and the firewall is set up to drop requests from outside the US, or perhaps Asia in particular.
@tindall I wonder how bad the attenuation is at 5GHz? If not too bad you could potentially get *higher* than gigabit Ethernet with the 1300Mbps ac mode!
@tindall according to https://www.timesmicrowave.com/calculator?Product=RG-6&RunLength=70&Frequency=5000 attenuation at 5GHz in RG6 coax would be 80dB/100m. So not ideal.
