Could use feedback on my "ethics" section. I think I'm getting across what I mean?

"It is the duty of software engineers to build software in an ethical way. In short:

- computer systems should serve their users before their makers
- software should empower users, not restrict them
- users should decide how data is used before engineers or businesspeople

We are the scribes of the information age, and it’s our responsibility not to abuse the positions of influence we hold."

@tindall You might say "Without specifying a specific ideology..." blah . Or the old factions of these people gnu.org/philosophy/philosophy. and these people debian.org/intro/free might start arguing with you.
