well, fuck, Australia passed the encryption bill. I guess I'm getting off FastMail first thing in the morning and then auditing all of my systems to make sure there's nothing from Australia anywhere.

this also effectively means I can never safely visit until it's gone, or I can theoretically be compromised at any point while I'm there.

i think politicians were a mistake
but we have an easy solution to fixing that mistake: guillotines.
