Tonight I wanna plug a couple newer instances:
masto.jews.international is an instance for jewish people which is pro-diaspora, anti-capitalist, non-zionist, and internationalist;
glammr.us is an instance for people working in libraries, archives, and museums
@perig instances.social probably but a lot of admins don't put their instances on any lists
@shel thanks for info about the glammr info. Which raises the question is there a way to watch an instances timeline without joining. There are a couple I want to watch so I can learn to follow new people but last I checked there was no way to do this.
@zer0her0 some instances have their local timelines on the front page, though some have federated. if you type the name of an instance in search it sometimes brings up users your instance knowns about on that instance
