@rum_and_tea a similar thing happened with Dogecoin, which was /g/ holding a mirror up to the Bitcoin zealots. and profiting off it too of course
a case I've made a few times is that Bitcoin is this to capitalism itself. there is nothing that can be said about it that doesn't apply to the mode of production itself
