hey fediverse, I need some .

I'm running a small linux server with , , dbl. SA is learning daily from junk mailboxes.

but still a lot of spam is coming through and friends on my box are getting increasingly frustrated.

what are your sure-shot spam-fighting techniques? please help with advice!

@randomdent i still find that greylisting is very effective, although the delay can sometimes be annoying for legitimate mail

@mrb @randomdent Yes, this.

Also DKIM and SPF validation on incoming messages, though this is becoming less useful.

@mrb @randomdent Don’t forget to throw in an RBL or two, as well, so that mail from known bad hosts is rejected.

Hmm. I have several blocklists on mine. Mind sharing what blocklists you're using? You cab do so over fediverse, or if you have xmpp, you can reach me there!
