The thing is, deep learning, neural networks, machine learning, is quickly becoming a technology that is just another piece of software that enables certain functions - like face recognition and other stuff for IoT, smart homes, etc etc... the mystique of A.I. wears off and we'll be taking this for granted in less than a decade. Which doesn't mean we should stop looking critically at the use of this tech.
