that's one way of looking at it, but i don't think that type of argument wuold lead to the conclusion that i should be nice to myself
but i do appreciate that you've like, put in effort to try and convince me that i'm wrong.
I'm probably going to talk about it with my therapist because i don't want to like, emotionally burden more people.
trauma, self-deprecation, logic
@Wafer it's a valid argument, but i don't think the premises are true, so it isn't sound.
The easiest way to like, argue the premises are not true is to think of a really shitty person who had some minor trauma, but then used it as a justification to repeatedly hurt their children.
I can think of a person like that, and i don't think that person deserves my sympathy, so it is false to say that all traumatized people deserve sympathy.
they're all real
best part of watching evangellion:
when the boy saves the girl and i get really excited and do a happy stim and it is a bit overwhelming but i try not to do it too much because i don't want to shake the bed & wake up @lavendork send toot
i changed my mind on NFT's
Like, i assumed they were awful because like, 1) climate change and 2) using art as currency feels a bit perverse. but like,,,
1: that's definitley a problem with current NFTs but like, PoS blockchains seems to answer most of the environmental concerns about PoW's reliance on running ASICs and GPUs
2: the idea of rich people just like, using art as currency is kindof disgusting and perverse, but like, NFTs feel like the least offensive way to commodify art; collectors can be like "oh yeah i own that" without like, placing any restrictions on how the public can view and appreciate the original form.
