okay so you might have heard that a lot of games on itch.io are generously being put on sale or going completely free to download/claim to help keep people busy during self-isolation. to make things a bit easier for poor folks like me who cant really afford to buy video games, i've made an (almost) complete list of the games that are completely free https://itch.io/c/759545/self-isolation-on-a-budget
there's a lot of really fantastic titles both known and unknown in here. really looking forward to checking some of these out when i have time tbh
of course i also heartily recommend just jumping into the free tag on itch io in general and plucking out stuff that looks interesting to you
i want to start up another collection at some point of just free games on itch that i really like
im checking on there like twice daily at this point so expect more things to appear on this list as time goes on
I've just updated the collection! now includes titles such as BLEED, LOVE, Super Rad Raygun, WitchWay and more! go grab some freebie games to enjoy <3
bleed 1 & 2 are free to download only but tbh theres no reason not to toss the dev some dosh so you get to keep em, they're both great games
limited budget that im on i tossed em a buck for bleed 2 if only bc i already own bleed 1 on steam n such =w=
anyway pls boost this post and get the news out that theres lots of cool free indie titles on itch right now that you can just grab
nuclear throne is no longer pay what you want so its OUTTA HERE! to make up for that, i've added a nice handful of extra games that've recently gone free to download/claim <3
for the record: im updating this collection *DAILY*. if you wanna keep enjoying the free games you'll wanna keep an eye on the link and also maybe follow me on there so you know when i add shit to the collection
@pupy Thanks for posting this. I was just thinking I needed a new game but didn't have much money to spend. And they have Linux titles. Yay!
