Do you remember how *lonely* you felt as a teenager? There were dozens or hundreds of kids but there might be *one* out kid you knew? You felt like everyone understood something you just didn't. And all along, there they were, right beside you, and you just didn't know, or they didn't feel safe to think it through yet.
Blows my damn mind.
