The idea that in a relationship one member can love the other more than the other loves them is quite strange, not because members in a relationship should love each other equally, but because this implies that the amounts people love other people somehow belong to a totally ordered set
@nightpool Hmm, I suppose you don't need to be able to compare all pairs of loves, just the ones relevant to a given relationship, so you're right
Although if you could then you could also say weird things like "I love my spouse more than you love yours"
