Almost all the bail funds I looked at today were at capacity on donation, https://secure.actblue.com/donate/bailfundscovid is a national emergency response fund that promises to send the money where it's needed across the entire bail fund network.
On other fronts, https://twitter.com/blackvisionsmn has been extremely dedicated about signal boosting ways to support black communities in Minnesota, and https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/12y7-Wa4gi8HUeFTv17gPcbMGuVX5cqIudLJmhOrq1-k/mobilebasic is a mutual-aid document compiling individuals connected to the protests who need support
@nightpool I know you didn't recommend it, but someone who works with my local bail fund really dislikes bailproject dot org.
The reasoning was that Bail Project (the group) takes over established bail funds that are working and waters their mission down to just concerns about cash bail. Also Richard Branson on the advisory board and a bunch of corporate backing. I haven't verified most of this, but I believe the person in question.
Anyway, in case anyone was thinking about them, maybe don't.
