so I just got perscribed SSRIs and i'm really terrified, i know they're gonna make me better but also i'm worried i'm gonna lose part of myself or something. it's probably an irrational fear but i'm still rly scared
@boobs_idiot People in my family and in my life have had bad experiences which is why I decided to self medicate with weed but it's different for everyone and so long as there isnt any major problem anyone in your family had with them then you should be fine
@mirzaba I've wanted to self medicate like that for a long time but I'm too isolated and scared to buy drugs atm i just don't know. i know too many people who have had bad experiences but also idk what else I can do.
@boobs_idiot You can get it medically legal depending on which state you live in. As for SSRIs. I just can't do it because it's an extremely predatory model of testing and distribution that destroys countless lives. But It also helps a lot of people. Which is why you should be considering family history
@boobs_idiot Oh that sucks I heard its hard to get weed in the UK. Where I am its super easy and mostly legal. Yes you should probably look more into SSRIs before you make the decision to use them. I feel like I would've been so much worse off if I had taken the prozac prescribed to me. Theres barely any informed consent, and major consequences people need to know about. But I'm probably not helping by saying this. Just know its the right decision first. It wasnt for me.
