the way most of the games are structured are very late stage capitalist. It's still real hot shit, and it's still a very profitable thing to do. I don't see it going away, but I see it being shit talked in the manner LoL was during the height of its popularity. It will finally die when a proper multiplayer format takes its place. Not simply when people get sick of it imo
