Watched #annihilation today and realized two things:
First, I managed to type "annihilation" correctly the first time, which I'm very proud of, and ...
Second: It's a really pretty movie, it has a deliciously creepy design vibe going on with some nice ideas ... wrapped around a really boring plot.
Or maybe not boring, I mean, it kept my attention for two hours, but very predictable. Anybody who's seen more than one artsy SciFi/Horror film could tell what will happen.
That always make me a bit sad.

I mean, I could see a couple of visual nerds sit around and dig a bit into those aspects or maybe compare this movie with others focused on "Exclusion Zone" type idea, but story? Nope.
@minx yeah, i wasn't impressed
when i tried to think about and analyze it afterward i just came up blank. there was almost nothing interesting to chew on.
