It's that time of the year again where I think "Ok, THIS time I'll set up a right and proper #backup scheme"... and then just end up with manual rsync anyway.
So, #linux people, what do you use to manage your #backups?
I'm looking for:
- incremental
- automatable
- local and/or remote
- browsable without special tools
- GUI optional but available
In the past this boiled down to {rsnapshot|rdiff-backup} but maybe that's changed?

@minx i'm just doing rsync -aXv --delete $HOME $DEST, exporting the explicitly installed package list before. i also bsdtar all configs in etc which are not vanilla. everything is via a script obviously.
