@matt I'm sorry to contradict this guy, but Oasis absolutely was not the biggest rock band in 1997. Maybe in England, I don't know. But looking through the albums released that year, either Aerosmith or Metallica was the biggest in America. And if we're talking about perfect albums, that's the year the Colour & the Shape and OK Computer came out.

@robotcarsley Those were the exact two albums I thought it might be about. I didn't think even anyone in England gave a shit about Oasis anymore, and this publication claims to be based in NYC, so :sa_confused:

It's probably an intentional ploy to provoke angry comments and hate boosts and I'm giving them exactly what they want, but at least I'm not in the twitter outrage ecosystem
