I agree, but weirdly enough, I DO actually own a VHS player. I've never seen another device like it, but it makes sense that in the final days of the VCR, people would want a cheap replacement to play their existing tape library on if their VCR broke.
Speaking of broken though, mine doesn't work :V
It's a shame, it's a cute little box, and it's not like I need to record nowadays anyway
