@matt alt.tech-support.recovery had a tradition of “creative” answers for anyone clueless enough to ask tech questions. My favourite was how to read mail on unix. You need the rm (read mail) command with -rf (‘really fast’, for the simplified interface) and * (because you want to read all your mail).
