Is there a basic desktop database program if all I want to do is create categories and attributes and organize information?

I downloaded SQLiteStudio and it was like deciphering ancient Egyptian algebra. It assumes I need to integrate it with a website or program, which I don't

When I was a kid with a paper route I used the Appleworks db on the //c to keep track of subscribers, bills owed, etc. It worked beautifully. It'd be a shame if I have to emulate an Apple II because there's nothing like that now.

@wohali I checked, but I don't think there's a way to download just the database program without getting the full office suite. Thanks though!

@matt How about Glom?

Disclaimer: Haven't used this one, but it's based in concept on FileMaker, which is very popular.

Doesn't seem to have been updated in the past year, but perhaps it's stable enough for your needs?

@wohali Ooh, this looks promising, thank you!

@wohali Glom crashed on run but Kexi is beautiful, thank you! Exactly what I was looking for
