Does anyone know if there’s a good way to extract snd resources from an old Mac file’s resource forks? Especially in a format playable using modern software.

@misty Audacity should be able to play them since that's just raw PCM audio (though you'll probably need to specify 8 or 16-bit format)

I'm not sure what extracts resource forks on modern systems, though. I'd probably just extract them with Resedit or Resourcerer.

@luigithirty The problem is they're in the resource fork - so they're part of a structured data format that Audacity doesn't know. Looks like Rezycle is able to get it though.

@misty Yeah, you'd need to extract the files and then load them into Audacity. :/
