@inferiorwit back when dan brown was my go-to example of an undeservedly popular hack, i always thought if i could crank out half a dozen d. brown-grade slabs of fiction product and make that kind of bank, i'd do it in heartbeat with no remorse and enjoy my early retirement.
i can't model a similarly chill attitude re: cline's output, which must mean that i'm _more_ annoyed by it than i was by a decade of people telling me how much the da vinci code changed their understanding of history.
