haskal tech tip:

if you're building your own selfhosted infrastructure you should set it up correctly the first time, even if it takes extra time to do that because if you are like me, once it has been working for a long time you are not going to fuck with it again other than to monkeypatch issues and if you build it right the first time you will not have issues to constantly monkeypatch

I'm very glad I decided to do the docker setup and reverse proxy on my main servers properly the first time because I do not feel like touching them again

So you're saying that rm -rf'ing my server and starting from scratch every couple months because I am bored and some part should be sligthly different because that's what I read is NOT normal?
