privacy is security and security is privacy
if the "security" is monitoring your every move and reporting it to who knows where that's not "security" that's just lying

@haskal Surveillance is security for the privileged to protect "their" investments and control the public.

The wealthy only want privacy for themselves, because they understand that with privacy comes the ability to organize against them. That is also why companies want to eek as much data out of you as they can. It isn't just about advertising to make a buck off you -- it is about creating databases of dissidents. It's corporate intelligence gathering.
