@ChrisWere since the #lists #ui is still horrible it is not good for anything
@grainloom Is it? You could put all your occasional posters into a list and pin it of to the side. That doesn't seem too bad.
@grainloom RSS! Inoreader or Feedly are good. You can drop their web profiles into either's search box and it should pull up the feed.
This is literally the use case of RSS.
@Riley THANK!!
I was looking for if and how RSS could be used with Masto but couldn't find anything resembling the RSS links I've seen on ther sites so I assumed it doesn't support it.
@grainloom Most sites will at least have it in the HTML meta stuff. RSS readers will find it. :3
@grainloom The RSS button isn't on there by default these days. You can add it in the toolbar customizer. Hamburger menu->customize
@Riley they should really re-add that tbh
@grainloom @Riley Firefox's RSS functions are really useful, I reckon. Very underrated and one of the main reasons FF is my main browser choice.
@ChrisWere @grainloom @Riley I've saying this for a bit but I think they really wanna push pocket. 😦
@squeakypancakes @grainloom @Riley I'm hoping they'll come to their senses on that. Eventually.
@grainloom Is this something lists might be good for?
