@grainloom tiles are addictive :P i prefer awesomewm over i3 though
@grainloom mainly because the config file is a lua script, which is insanely powerful compared to key/value-style configs :P
@Earthnuker aw ye, Lua is nice for configs, although I'm pretty sure you can do some nice configing with i3-msg and Lua (and maybe a nice wrapper)
@Earthnuker I actually like that i3 doesn't let me do Lua in configs because otherwise I'd be digging through backtraces of my horrible scripts >_<
@grainloom π I keep hitting mod+enter and mod+this and mod+that when I'm on work pc which runs Win10
@grainloom I think I am too (are we starting a tiling-anonymous?)
I was working on something very non-techy with someone and she said she really liked it, how a new window automatically popped up next to the one we were working on.
@grainloom I use #KDE and I don't get how you people survive without a 3D cube.
@MatejLach does a CRT screen count as one?
@grainloom It does if you occasionally spin it around.
@grainloom just fine, thanks. :)
@grainloom
I3wm is absolutely glorious, but when it comes to Wine or customizing it, it starts to suck.
@nzar
when it comes to... wine? wha?
@grainloom some of us use bspwm instead!
