@rysiek oh those poor souls too
@grainloom when they switch to #rust
@grainloom it's not because the medium don't highlight the truthfullness of our destiny that'll bend for it.
And it allow #C people to learn a little how grown up do.
@webshinra not sure how it will teach them about rust, but whatever π
@grainloom let's say that the Β«c++ without cΒ» way of rust allow c++ to be a valid intermediate.
@grainloom (and one day, hopefully, constructive type system.)
@grainloom my build-scripting instinct is that the CPP tag would be for C preprocessor talk, and CXX for C++.
@lifning tbh yeah, I'm just used to .cpp files more than .cxx
@grainloom @lifning how about .cc #CC ?
@grainloom @lifning nah, that's creative commons :(
@grainloom @Wolf480pl I was getting at the CPPFLAGS vs. CXXFLAGS distinction rather than file names :p
@lifning I know, but since @grainloom said that he looks at file extensions first, so I suggseted .cc
Anyway, I guess #CXX is the only option left.
@lifning @grainloom wow, and people actually use it.
@grainloom but then, it's probably easy to find C preprocessor talk already under #include, #define, #ifdef, etc.
@grainloom inb4 #C#
