@ghost_bird I see quite a lot of it and I feel like if it's massively overused then it loses all of its power as a result.
By turning off CWs in the settings, you are just opening yourself up to being more likely to see something you don't want to see by accident.
By leaving CWs on but getting used to clicking through them all of the time without thinking twice about it, you are just opening yourself up to being more likely to see something you don't want to see by accident.
@neilalexander I wonder if it’s mostly Twitter crossposters, now I think about it? I usually mute them on sight, which would explain why I’m not seeing them, and default mark-as-sensitive would make sense for people who just want to mirror their tweets and not engage with Mastodon.
