@eq

here's a pretty simple one:

mushroom caps (shiitake are best, but i'm sure cremini brown mushrooms could work too, or whatever you like)
black bean sauce
soft or silken tofu, diced

it's almost like poutine but way healthier

An oldie but a goodie is the BBQ tofu in this book:

I haven't tried everything in here, but I like the things I *have* tried. There's a silken tofu "mousse" that's out of this world. It won't keep as long as the dairy version, though. Helps to have a friend around to help finish it. ;)

@xenophora thank you kindly!

@eq

I can post it right here! It's ultra-short. BRB.

It's in my TL now. Let me know if my so-so transcription methods made anything confusing. lol. (I would've photographed for you if I had a real phone.)

@eq Japanese curry is yum! Tofu, onion, carrot, potato. You just buy the curry cubes in a box at a supermarket or Asian grocery and the recipe is on the side, but it’s basically “chop everything, add water, wait a bit, add curry cubes”!

@eq we also put hard tofu in just about any stir fry.
Mapo tofu is another one I like. Traditionally done with pork mince but not necessary. Easy to get a jar sauce that comes out good.
