car stuff, not entirely serious

after driving up and down the A7 a couple of times these past two days I can safely conclude that the most dangerous object on the road is a fancy new sportscar with Danish plates

car stuff, not entirely serious

1. turn onto highway, behind truck
2. check side mirror to see if middle lane is free for overtaking
3. enable left turn signal and get ready to overtake
4. one final side mirror check
5. surprise Danish sportscar at 300km/h

@elomatreb I always see YouTube videos of people from NL and DK driving into Germany simply because they /can/, and are allowed to go much faster than 120km/h..

It was a popular part of a trip to Germany from Britain too, except (unless people hire a car locally) they might prefer to stay in the right lane most of the time as overtaking will be difficult with steering wheel on other side..

@vfrmedia the flipside of this is people from NL or other EU countries coming here for vacation trips or something like that and stubbornly driving 120km/h in the middle lane even if lanes to the right are free

@elomatreb we have that here with local drivers where people stay in middle lane at well below 112 km/h (in spite of it being a traffic violation and there are now cameras to catch people doing it), I also saw on "Blik op de Weg" (Dutch reality traffic/driving show) an unfortunate chap from Turkey who had forgotten he had crossed the border into NL, and got pulled over for 180 km/h...
