unlike many of these wips, i know exactly what pattern this is and i actually still really want to make it. unfortunately i started this particular project in grad school and then promptly stopped knitting for a while because grad school was hell. there's not really enough done to justify moving it on the needle and it probably deserves a fresh start. this has been FROGGED

aww yeah it's the tom baker scarf! i haven't worked on it in a long time and it's essentially just garter stitch forever but i love the fourth doctor and sometimes you just want to keep your hands busy and not think too hard. this isn't so much a FINISH as it is a "let's move it on the needles it'll be fine and it's always there when i need something to do with my hands"

i actually genuinely love lion brand homespun, that ever-controversial lumpy mess of a yarn. it's great for large-needle simple knitting when you want something soft in your hands that you aren't worried about messing up. these are easy to start and i'm not actually attached to the projects. both have been FROGGED

i left in a bit of a hurry for my grandma's funeral and just sort of threw a needle and some yarn in a bag. i'm pretty sure this hat pattern was started in the wrong size and it was more or less just to have something to do in the whole shitty funeral downtime. this project has been FROGGED but i love this yarn and still want to make a hat out of it sometime

this is a patternless scarf with some really nice warm yarn - it's just 3 rows of stockinette followed by a row of s1, *k2tog, yo*, k1

it's an easy pattern, large needles, bulky yarn, almost finished anyway - this is definitely a FINISH

this is a half & half - one mitten is done, the other one i think i messed up on so it was FROGGED but this is also a present for my mom & i already told her about it as a way to hold myself accountable for FINISHing it. i will knit two of something if it kills me. it's made from lopi i brought her from iceland but she asked me to make her something with it

i love love love LOVE this yarn and i have no idea what it is! and i don't have any more of it! truly a knitting tragedy. i also love this pattern so i'm going to FINISH with what yarn i have left and maybe i'll be able to track down the yarn i used or maybe it will just be a short scarf or cowl
