@charlotte the people who are anti-unicode are so weird
like, we spent 35 years making an encoding that does a decent job of supporting almost all written text and you just want to throw that away??
or do they actually think that supporting non-english text doesn't matter?

@easrng ah but u see sometimes they put weird characters in source code so clearly we should just all use ascii
@easrng i would support ascii but with [a-zA-Z] stripped out
