i still think it's a disgrace that schools and workplaces are kept open while there's literally tons of dihydrogen monoxide being leaked onto the ground from the atmosphere

@devurandom that, and the continuing prevalence of Silicon Dioxide is really incredible by todays standards. Just because it has a pretty high diaphaneity, it gets used in almost all windows! I hear they even use this stuff to make containers for the very same dihydrogen monoxide you mentioned! Unbelievable.
