it's not i who decided that operating systems, web browsers, office tools, multimedia suites etc. should have hundreds of megabytes of code that will take an impossibly long time to audit. i also didn't invent touchscreens, high-dpi displays, unicode, or any of the other technologies that led software to become so big. and now i have to suffer because some jerks decided to not know restraint.

"640kb is enough" is a lie, but i wish it were true
