software alternative question
so ive been a mac user for the past few years and have recently switched to a linux pc, what is a good daw similar to studio one?
software alternative question
@desktopdotini I can’t help you directly, but I bet @vkc could give you some ideas!
software alternative question
@iamdoon @desktopdotini I used Studio One for a bit a few years ago, and I'm now using Bitwig on Linux. It's quite good- the workflow is reasonable, but offers more options for composition. Of course, it's paid!
If you want a "classic DAW", I do very much like Ardour, but I haven't checked out it's plugin universe in a while. Last time I used it, it was great for live instruments, but using virtual instruments was a challenge.

@desktopdotini Ardour is perfect for multi-track recording and live effects.
