do note that in saying this that i am absolutely not endorsing the DSA or even really “leftists”

i do not really get the impression that the DSA is even trying to do this

i would feel a lot more invested in electoral politics if there were an actual movement to systematically elect leftists into all levels of government

i subscribe to emails from my local DSA and i really do not get the impression that they plan anything farther than “elect Bernie”

the appeal for me of vegetables in general is primarily the colors they add to what i’m cooking

(for some reason my feelings are almost the opposite when it comes to food: the presentation is very important to me, sometimes more so than taste or function)

which is definitely a *secondary* concern for me when i’m evaluating how nice it would be to be outside
