If you post flashing or fast moving gifs, mark them as NSFW and put a warning in the text. Using a CW does not hide the image, so you need to use the NSFW function.

and I mean that literally, flashing, strobing or fast moving gifs can trigger seizures and seizures can be life threatening

@clar I know, and I have, but it's not possible on every client & the onus should not be on disabled people to protect themselves from others being careless
@cripcat oh I absolutely agree; in fact I think that animated GIFs are an accessibility nightmare and should never be on by default and that it's super ableist to share flashy moving stuff without tags
although also the option is not publicised and I think it's something that disabled people should know about as a layer of protection from people who don't tag their stuff
