well thats weird, openMP makes it slower anyways. I guess the thread creation overhead is more expensive than the code itself

hmm, I cant build my project with OpenMP as a fat binary because it cant find the arm version of libomp, and I'm not sure how to make homebrew install it as a fat library, if thats even possible
