I'm pondering the idea of maybe somehow creating/running an accessible instance. But there's a few things we'd need before I'd feel comfortable doing that:
1) Ability to delete account and export posts.
2) Ability to add image descriptions for screen readers.
3) Ability to easily see the user interface and local timeline *before* you make an account.
Also I'm not sure how easy it is for admins to adjust font sizes, colours, backgrounds, labels, etc.

@cassolotl the system is incomplete indeed. I wanted to create an instance for autistic people but realised I don't have the technical knowledge to make some of those custom changes.
@Afroblue I get you! I don't have the technical knowledge to set it up just with everything as default, haha.
@cassolotl I noticed that some instances are grouped/affiliated with bigger ones. I wonder if that would help. I don't understand how that works yet
