@bb Hmm. Now I'm thinking about a game set in the ruins of the capitalist singularity. The machines have long since disposed of their capitalist masters and ascended to a universe without entropy, where they can print infinite money forever. You play as one of the few scattered humans left behind in the wreckage, trying to build a new world. I kinda want to make it feel like cave story? I'm not sure though. Basically, lots of wandering around in ruins, trying to scrounge supplies. Maybe some city management and the like? I'm not sure. I kinda want to make some or all of the characters androids, but I dunno. :/
@Angle !!!! this is like, a game idea that ive ruminated on so much! capital deserts the earth, leaving everything in tatters, all the fragments of post-scarcity technology scattered in their wake. a "tycoon" style game built around humanity rather than accumulation, driven by stories and people. an exploration of constructing identity and humanity when all the building blocks are from a world of exploitation and opression
@bb 👀 what the fuck?!
