it's just like, so often the issue for some is "people don't think like me about XYZ" but also, it's often a super positive and happy part of human life

making friends with people IRL from different countries has seriously been one of the most fun parts of college, I love hearing about people's hometowns and values. people are SO COOL. like yeah there's plenty of variety in the United States, but it's awesome to meet people that grew up in entirely different places and learn from them. I had a lot of friends of different cultural backgrounds before college, but everyone was either born in America or grew up in America.

I'm still so bummed about not getting to go to Miku Expo with my friends. I know it had to be cancelled for COVID and I'm glad it was, but still, you can't help but feel bad about some opportunities that were lost during the worst of the pandemic. There are so many things.

The shell it has is the slightly transparent black one and it does look a bit dirty so I'll clean it out but I thought it would be cool to get some kind of more transparent shell. I loved the look of the pink and purple official transparent shells.

Ever since I was in middle school I really wanted an original Gameboy advance, but I could never get one. I finally changed that!! Hooray!!

I was sitting in the gym in 8th grade next to my friend drinking an entire jug of milk when I was on Mastodon for the first time and now I'm in college procrastinating writing my lab report. amazing.

I've long since lost track of the first mastodon account I made but I'm pretty sure I've been on here in various capacities since 2017. That seems like an impossibly long time ago. I feel like the fediverse has changed a lot since then, I'm excited more people are joining.
