Wow, okay. I think Hypnospace Outlaw is one of my favorite games now. Getting to the end of the game was a lot of fun, but the finale also made me sad... I felt like I was saying goodbye to the world in the game, yes, but also the real-life 'old' internet.
It's a love-letter to the things that brought us all together here in the first place. The characters are written like people I feel like I've met in real life. The game isn't shy about its politics. It's funny as hell, and most importantly, it's fun to play.
It makes me want to redo my webpage in the same style, and explore the web to find those last communities that still feel like you're inhabiting a real place.
