best part about mastodon is all of the "discourse" is so fragmented that if you're only following half of the people involved you don't understand anything

@eq This is why: 1. We need client-side #oembed implementations of quote posts, so everypony can know what the hay is going on 2. I use #excessive#hashtag#spam and sometimes a #tagcloud
@eq On second thought, the lack of quoted posts combined with the trivial ability to circumvent blocks with alt accounts on other servers adds a layer of fun to discourse that would not be present if we had a straightforward mechanism to show what we’re mad about today. Plus discoursing about discourse is just fun and zero-stakes.
